Could this be the same ad John Schneider saw when he skipped school to head over to the Lakewood Fairgrounds and ended up in the movie?

Here is an ad posted in the Sept 23-29, 1976 Atlanta Constitution newspaper. I wonder if this was the same ad John Schneider saw when he skipped school to head over to the Lakewood Fairgrounds and ended up in the movie.

I own a couple of Pace CB143 radios mentioned in the give aways. Nice units! It has the same microphone as the one used in the movie.

Another thing I noticed is that the CB143 is about the same size and shape as the Pace 10-4U scanner that is so hard to find. They even share the same knobs.
